What is Strean?

Strean is a free, independent education project for ETF beginners in Germany. No ads, no commissions, no affiliate links, nothing to sell you — just clear explanations about investing with ETFs.

Who is behind it

Strean is run by Dmitriy. I came into the world of ETFs as a beginner myself, worked through the topic thoroughly, and pass on what I learned here in plain language — the way I would have wanted it explained at the start. I'm not a financial adviser; I'm someone who makes these topics understandable and checks the facts carefully.

Our principles

• Honesty first. Where something can't be seriously calculated or predicted — crypto, for example — we say so openly instead of inventing a neat-looking number.
• Facts from primary sources. We verify figures against official sources: the German Finance Ministry, Bundesbank, MSCI, and the actual laws.
• Independence. No paid recommendations, no affiliate links. What we suggest or caution against depends only on the merits.
